Do you know where your shoes were made? If you’re wearing Telic, the answer is the American Dream. Telic, a recovery shoe brand for those who spend a lot of time on their feet, was inspired by CEO Rocco Azzarito’s grandfather, Francisco Azzarito. The son of a shoe cobbler, Francisco came to America from a small town in Italy to chase the American Dream and follow in his father’s footsteps by creating a family-run footwear business in the U.S.
Making sure to honor Francisco’s dream, all Telic’s employees are family and family friends. Unintentionally, it just so happened that Telic was launched in the USA on July 4th, 2012 – fully embracing having American made products. With Francisco’s vision in mind, Telic products are still manufactured and distributed here in the U.S.A. Headquartered in Boise, Idaho, Telic is also heavily involved in the Idaho community. Telic has partnered with the Payette River Games, Ragnar Running and Iron Man races in Idaho to allow athletes to try Telic shoes for better recovery. You can also find their shoes in local shoe shops and athletic stores.
The original Telic product, the Flip Flop, was created by athletic people for athletic people. Employees at Telic all have a passion for fitness and the outdoors, and understand the need to be good to your feet. With an increase in popularity, Telic has recently launched their online store, allowing consumers to order Telic shoes directly from their website. As Telic continues to grow, they plan to continue partnering with different fitness events and organizations in Idaho to allow their products to be Tested in Idaho.
